What do you hope for?

Image
Thank you for joining me on this journey as I delve deeper into God’s Word concerning the statements that we, as born again, Spirit filled believers can make about ourselves. You can read the statements here . Because we believe that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead, our sins have been forgiven and our names are written in the Book of Life. We now have the promise of eternal life in Heaven. (Rom 10:9) So, let’s take a closer look at these statements… My sins have been forgiven We are all sinners and we cannot live up to God’s standards, no matter how holy or good we think...

Before we can look at walking free, we first need to know why we are not free to start with. In order for us to do this, we need to take a look at the enemy. Satan was an angel who fell because of pride. He wanted to be like God. Because of this sin he was cast out of heaven together with a third of the angels (Is. 14:12-13).
