You have probably had your fair share as well, so I am not even going to mention any of them floating around right now. I am just going to tell you why I have a problem with conspiracy theories. Apart from them being truly annoying and mostly ridiculous, they are also not biblical. What am I talking about? This part of Scripture: “The LORD has given me a strong warning not to think like everyone else does. He said, "Don't call everything a conspiracy, like they do, and don't live in dread of what frightens them. Make the LORD of Heaven's Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear. According to the Bible, you, as a born again, Spirit filled, child of God, have been given Spiritual gifts. I’m not talking about your natural talents and abilities. These all work together with your Spiritual gifts. I am talking supernatural gifts! So, what exactly is it and why were Christians given these gifts? Well, first of all, they are exactly what they are being called, they are gifts . They have been given to every believer by a gracious God, through his Spirit (Heb. 2:4, Eph. 4:7). It was not given to benefit only you as an individual, but to benefit the entire Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:7). It should be carried out in love and should bear Spiritual fruit. That is why it is important to understand the following verses: “Now there are varieties of gifts , but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service , but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities , but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.” 1 Cor. 12:4-6, ESV
