Are things falling apart?

We know that everything, including us, are made up by zillions of small building blocks, called molecules. Don’t worry, this is not a lesson in science, but in order for us to understand an amazing statement in the Bible, we need to first understand some science. So, what is a molecule? “A molecule is the smallest particle in a chemical element or compound that has the chemical properties of that element or compound. Molecules are made up of atoms that are held together by chemical bonds.” (WhatIs.com) Right, so we see that the molecules are being held together by chemical bonds between the different atoms. I found the following interesting information regarding atoms:  “The nucleus of the atom contains positively charged and neutral particles. Mutual electrostatic repulsion between the positive protons would drive the nucleus apart if it were not for the ‘strong force’ which binds the nucleus together. There is thus an active force imposed on the universe,

Do your job

What job did God give you to do for His kingdom? Are you doing it? I believe there is a unique flame burning in every heart, ignited by God and blown on by the Holy Spirit. It’s your little light that must shine to the Glory of God. It is important to know what your job is. Why? Because of the parable told by Jesus in Matt. 24:45-51. It’s the story about a servant who was given a job by his master to do while he was away. Upon the master’s unexpected return he found the servant busy doing this job. But he was not so pleased with the wicked servant who decided that his master was taking too long to return and started backsliding. Go and read 1 Cor. 12, Eph. 4:11-13 and Rom. 12:6-8. Paul describes us as the body of Christ in 1 Cor. 12:12-31. Just as a body can not be all head or all foot, the body of Christ needs the different bodily parts in order for it t

The cross on your wall...

Do you have a cross in your home? We do. In fact, we have a few. In different colors, sizes and textures! It forms a part of our home decor. It is a message to visitors saying: “You are now entering a Christian home.” The cross is the universal symbol for Christianity. We all know that. But, what about you? The one with the cross on your living room wall? The Christian? What do you see when you look at the cross? We should see the final sacrifice for our sins by Jesus on that cross. His divine love. The wounds that brought us healing and salvation. The Almighty God who became flesh and bones. And then, you should also see yourself on that cross. Yes, I know! This is the part where some of you will stop reading! Most Christians I know struggle with the idea of being crucified with Christ. We read in Gal. 2:20 (NLT) “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the So
